As the days slowly grow longer and the first signs of spring begin to appear, it feels like the perfect time to pause, reflect, and look ahead to what’s coming next at Tea and Hope. The start of this year has already been filled with cosy evenings, friendly faces, and the gentle rhythm of crochet—and there’s plenty more to look forward to as the seasons change.
Celebrating Our Workshops So Far
The year kicked off with some truly lovely crochet sessions. Our Beginner Crochet Classes welcomed new crocheters to the craft, building confidence one stitch at a time in a relaxed and supportive space. Watching those first chains turn into finished pieces has been such a joy.
We also wrapped up warm with the Hats and Scarves Workshop, where colour, texture, and creativity took centre stage. From classic designs to more playful combinations, every project reflected the personality of its maker—and each session was full of conversation, laughter, and shared creativity.
Thank you to everyone who has joined a workshop so far this year. You’ve helped create such a warm, welcoming community, and I’m so grateful for every person who’s come along with their hooks and yarn 💛
What’s Coming Up This Spring
There’s plenty to look forward to in the coming weeks, starting with our Cosy Blanket Crochet Workshop. This upcoming workshop is all about slowing down, enjoying the rhythm of crochet, and starting a soft, snuggly blanket that can be worked on week by week. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing project or a reason to carve out some creative time for yourself, this workshop is designed to be calm, comforting, and welcoming.
As we move further into the season, I’m also excited to welcome crocheters with some experience to our Easter Decoration Crochet Workshop. In this spring-themed series, you’ll be creating a collection of charming handmade decorations to adorn an Easter tree. It’s a chance to refine your skills, try new techniques, and make something truly special to bring out year after year.
Full details and booking information for all upcoming workshops can be found on my website at www.teaandhopecrafts.com.
A Little Spring Gift:
Free Crochet Acorn Pattern
To celebrate the shift into spring, I’m sharing a free crochet acorn pattern as a small thank you. Acorns feel like the perfect seasonal symbol—simple, natural, and full of potential. They make lovely decorations, gifts, or additions to a seasonal display.
